Days past and present

Yesterday was great. My boss let me leave work early, for starters, and yet said he'd adjust the payroll so I get paid until my normal leaving time. Then was tea with Yan at Camellia Sinensis, which has re-opened. Mmmm... orgasm cake... I walked him to work and then headed over to Ian's to kill demons and ninjas in Champions of Norath 2 (I'm so addicted). Charlie is going to be the death of me. He's SO cute, and SO affectionate, and I'm SO allergic! Ian then treated me to dinner at a fantastic Vietnamese place near his house (thanks, Ian!), where we engaged in a lively conversation / debate about the nature of science. It was a really good conversation, very intellectual, that kept me on my toes. We haven't had one of those in a long time. Back to his place for more killing of pixels (I'm so addicted) and then home and sleep.

This morning I got up on time (yay!), finished uploading my Europe pictures to the web (I'll post a link soon), cleaned up my room, and meditated. I've discovered that meditation is MUCH easier for me when I have a candle to use as a focus. I will keep this in mind for future reference. Now I'm off to Ian's to drop off Boggle, maybe kill a few more diseased plant pixels (I'm so addicted). Then back here to sew napkins like a mad woman so that they'll be ready by Tuesday.

Tonight I'm gaming for the first time in three months. It's an outdoor, French, Vampire: Dark Ages LARP, and Yan has been raving about it. Apparently people are really getting into the medieval mindset. I'm VERY much looking forward to it. I've got my costume, I've got some props, I've made a rosary special for the occasion that looks really cool, if I have time I'll make some shoe-covers today. It's a shame I'll only be able to go to three games before I leave for Toronto.

So, things are good. Now to get dressed and go where I might kill pixellated diseased plants. (I'm so addicted!)
