My latest sewing project

You know, I'm sure hemming the edges is supposed to be the fastest part of a sewing project. And yet only after four episodes of the West Wing do I have two hemmed 9" x 12" rectangles. The project needs to be finished in less than two weeks. I haven't even cut out the apliquée pieces yet.

Suddenly I'm feeling very nervous...

Updated, July 22: After another 3.5 hours, I now have god-knows-how-many appliquee pieces cut out (I think about 75). The next week and a half will be a mad dash of appliqueeing and couching. Wish me luck!)
