So today I went to the dentist. I hate dentists. It's nothing personal against them, it's just that a dentist's office is intimately linked in my mind with the feeling of pain. Eight years of orthodontics and gum surgery will do that.
The worst part is that I have to go again in two days to fix a chip in my tooth. They say it will only take a half-hour to fix now, but it could get worse if I leave it untreated. So, more agonizing dentistry for me!
In other news, I'm in the process of writing my last paper. It's a long (20-page) research paper, though my research is a little lighter than I'd like. I'm up to 8 pages so far and have stopped for the day. I've got Thursday and Friday to finish writing (about 6 pages per day, or about two hours each), then Saturday and Sunday to edit. Should be fine. If I feel industrious, I'll write one more page today and finish up the section I'm working on.
But, at least once this is done, I have no more papers left at Concordia! All I'll have to worry about is exams, Latin, and my residence applications.
