Free books!

The idea is that you take some of the books that are overcrowding your bookshelves and "release" them (ie: leave them) in public places for other people to read them. Other people find the book, enter the code into bookcrossing.com and you can track your book's journey. You can also go "hunting" for released books and find them.
I love this idea! I have books on my shelf that I know I will never read again, and it seems like a cool idea. I know, however, that many of my friends are avid readers. So here's what I'm gonna do: I'll note here when I register books. I will then list them under my username (yourstruly42) as "available" for one week before I actually release them. People can leave me comments and claim them them during that time. If no one claims them, I'll release them and allow others to find them.
I encourage everyone to join in if you have books you no longer want, but don't want to throw out. (I mean, who wants to throw out books?)
