The house has been more-or-less quiet all day. So obviously, for the one phone call when I really needed quiet (a call-back from a placement agency), Marc was running the vacuum and couldn't hear me shouting at him to turn it off. And the phone I was using didn't have a hold button.

Oh, well. At least the woman was nice enough to laugh it off. ("Your boyfriend's vacuuming? Don't stop him! That's progress!")
