Whew!

For the first time in a long, long time, there were no files for me at work today. Which essentially meant that I had 8 hours in which to look busy. I wrote a poem, browsed blogs, browsed my own LJ, and just generally was aware of the clock ticking and the pain in my neck and shoulder.

Here's hoping that tomorrow there's some actual work for me to do. I don't know if I can go through that again.

waaaaah. your job sounds like a haven right now. except that, in truth, i'd never survive yours. and i'm loving the irony that, despite being the manager for communications, i'm steadfastly refusing to use capital letters! :)

Thanks, though I'm trying not to accept congrats until I actually sign the lease. The paperwork was sent off this morning, so I'm hoping to hear from the landlord by the end of the week or early next week.
