Not my night
So, long story short:
I had a scary experience tonight. Details aren't important; suffice to say that it's over now and everyone involved is fine, but it left me with a lot of adrenaline in my system.
Around 1:15, I finally got myself relaxed enough that I was ready to fall asleep.
Then my toilet overflowed in a truly obnoxious way.
(I leave it to my readers to fill in pertinent details -- but it wasn't pleasant.)
In rinsing out the mop I used to clean up the mess, I managed to spray myself in the face with cold water.
It's 5 minutes later, but suddenly I'm all awake again.
Damn.
