Two annoyances that (sort of) cancel each other out

I arrived at E.A. today at 12:20, ten minutes before my class was supposed to start. Annoyance #1: there's a meeting going on in the room I'm supposed to be teaching. I decide to give them until 12:30 to see if they're just wrapping up. 12:30 comes and goes, they're still in there.

Annoyance #2: at 12:30, neither of my two students had arrived. They weren't there by 12:45, when I decided to leave. The meeting was still going on, by the way. Not that it mattered.

On the up-side, I get paid for the full class time, even though I didn't teach it.

Annoyed, yes.

Is it possible they moved your class to accomodate the meeting, and somehow told your students but not you?

Possibly. But this isn't the room has been double-booked over my class. I think it's just a case of two separate instances coming together at once.

Hiho,

So long as you're 100% sure that you were, indeed, at the right room! :)

Cu,
Andrew

So far as I know, there are only three conference rooms in the buliding. (Or at least the part of it owned by E.A.) They're nowhere near each other. I've already met this class five times in this particular room. Unless they changed the room and no one thought to tell me, it was the right room.
