Things move fast, apparently. I just got off the phone from a woman at Nordia, less than a half-hour after sending in my CV. She wants me to come in for a typing test tomorrow.

The shifts, as I understand it, are of three types:
- Variable Shift: as the name implies, they vary. You're guaranteed at least 20 hours a week, and can get up to 40. Mostly day shifts, with a few evenings.
- Evening Shift: five days a week, 40 hours, 6 pm to 2 am, precise days change.
- Night Shift: five days a week, 40 hours, 11 pm to 7 am, precise days change.

Not being a night owl, at least in terms of productivity, I have no interest in the evening or night shifts. The first one, on the other hand, is actually looking quite temping. The up-side is that it will leave some time free for me to continue to job-hunt in the cegep and editing fields, while bringing in a bit of income to supplement my job-hunt.

So... tomorrow I'm off to show them my phenominal cosmic typic skillz. Today I'm going to keep networking.

Eee. My friend worked for Nordia and was given only the evening shifts, and different shittier hours than what she was told at the interview. Watch out.

Sorry, she was told variable shifts and ended up getting shitty hours. Like, overnights. But maybe they have filled those slots already.
