Just stuff

A few updates from the Julie front:

- Chocolate fondue party is tomorrow. Looking forward to it. On facebook, I've got about 20 confirmed and about 35 maybes so... probably around 25-30 people. Which is about what I expected.

- My birthday is on Tuesday. Yay, birthday! I'll be 28, for the curious.

- Marc leaves on Saturday. Boo! Yes, I've been through summers without him before. No, I still don't like it.

- Drawing class continues to go well. We worked on perspective last week, and we're doing "negative space" this coming week.

- Haven't been to karate in about a week and a half. I'll get more regular about it once Marc's out of town and I don't have him to distract me, I suspect.

- Gaming continues. Joined a Heavy Gear game on Thursday, playing in Ian's "Hunter's Hunted" game tonight (last session before Marc leaves), and D&D remains lots of fun (as witnessed by my "voice of doom" posts).

Thus ends the update. Nothing more to see here. Move along, now.

A sign of a good gaming session

It's the end of the session and all but one character have successfully be pulled out of the spooky, horrific, burned-out building that's about to collapse in on itself. And the only thing you can think is, "Caleb's still in there! We've gotta go get him out! Damn it!"

And then you realize that the reason Caleb is still in the building is because Caleb's player (i.e. Marc) is going away for the summer and won't be able to make any sessions for the next three months.

Yeah... it was intense tonight. Good game.
