Manhunt on TV!

A CTV reporter was at Manhunt this past weekend. You can see the two-minute segment here. I was there, though I wasn't interviewed. iangurudata was, and you'll be able to see him in the video.

A practice I highly recommend

Here's a recommendation that probably won't apply to anyone but me: when starting a new job, arrange to go back to your old job (assuming you left on good terms) for a day or two *after* you've started the new one.

In other words, working at Dawson today was wonderfully therapeutic. I was around my established co-workers who know and respect me, doing a job at which I feel competent. A lovely difference from the last two days, where I'm the new girl, don't know anyone, can't do anything (haven't done my training yet), and am taking away time from the "real" employees who are training me.

Yay!
