Surprise day off!

Today's breadcrumb is about one of the drawbacks of being high priest of the Israelites.

The surprise good news today: I'm not teaching! My class has been cancelled at the last minute, so I'm still getting paid. All this is wonderfully excellent news! Yay!

In other news, I didn't do much with my morning yesterday. I planned some lessons, wrote a short story, and generally relaxed.

Around 5:30 people showed up for gaming. It was an amazingly silly game, in the good way. I broke down into uncontrollable laughter several times. It was great. We're still not at the point where we level-up, but it doesn't really matter.

Marc stayed over afterwards, and we had a great time followed by some really nice conversation. He left around 2 am because I theoretically needed to wake up early (I no longer do, but it was true at the time).

And now I'm awake and contemplating what to do with my windfall of free time. Probably do a bit more planning for tomorrow's class, write up the exam I need to give next week, write some more Daily Breadcrumbs, and try to pester my Toronto GM into doing some gaming with me. At some point, I may even get together with actual, physical people. Yay!
