Thanks. Yeah, it's more the "being aware of my face" aspect of it. And my fingers *are* infectious if I happen to touch my eyes, which I've been studiously avoiding doing. (When I've been rubbing/touching my eyes, it's been with tissue paper, keeping my fingers well clear.)
