Okay, done now
Second day at work and I'm *exhausted*. Sadly, I don't know if I'm going to get a chance to relax this weekend, given that I'm hosting the "Break Your Resolutions Early" party on Saturday afternoon/evening (and will probably be cleaning Saturday morning) and will be helping my dad with some work on Sunday, which will probably take 4-5 hours. Let's not talk about when I'm going to find time to do groceries or laundry.
Can I stop being a productive member of society now? *collapses*

Anyway, assuming this cold passes (please, pretty please) it'll be fine. I usually get back into the swing of things within a few weeks.

It'll get easier as you get used to it, but yeah, it's a hell of a lot different than being able to do anything you want, whenever you want.

Instead, I'm working on putting in some time (even if it's just half an hour or so) into some creative project.
I've found that even if I leave work in a reasonable mood, by the time I've spent an hour getting home I feel drained of energy. I feel that sewing or knitting or doing some home décor or something like that, doesn't leech even more energy from me the way that staring at a screen does. It also contributes to my other new year's resolution, which "use your damned craft supplies."
All of that to say: I won't be breaking any resolutions by coming to have chocolate at your party tomorrow, if you don't mind a few more guests.
We'll bring RJ his own dunking chocolate on account of he's getting over being sick & his milk allergy. That would just add me and Keiran to your chocolate consumers. Please do let me know a) if it's too late to RSVP, b) if it's not a kid-friendly event, c) if you'd like us to bring more chocolate on account of the late RSVP, and c) your address by message?

No need to bring more chocolate, and there will be a fondue pot without milk. (I have other friends who are lactose intolerance.) Just bring something to dunk. I could probably set aside a small ramekin of chocolate for RJ if he needs it, the better to not make everyone sick.
