Green belt, baby!
The big news of the evening is that I got my green belt. Yay!
For those who didn't ask: there was no exam, so I don't know how I would have done on it. Good, I assume. Because I have a brown belt in another style, the sensei has allowed me to skip doing formal exams and instead just tells me when I can wear my next belt. He sort-of said that when two of my fellow orange belts got their green, I could wear mine as well. They passed last week (I couldn't go because of the metro strike... bah!). So now I'm green, too. Yay!
