Lazy morning

Though I'm sure I set out things I wanted to do this morning, I have instead just been chilling and relaxing, enjoying being home with very little to do. My room is clean, my memes are posted, and I've still got 235 pages left of book 3 of Game of Thrones. There's fudge in the fridge, music on my computer, and clean clothes in my closet. Life is good. Even the weather's nice.
Yesterday was fun as well. First, garou. Despite raining on 4 out of 4 game days, and despite my shoes and jeans getting soaked through, I had quite a good time. My character got her first serious beating, Kyn's character almost died (again), André was hilarious as Grandpa Rusty (again), and the galliards got a few good jabs in at each other (as always -- thanks Scott!).
Afterwards, I went back to my place with Ian and Sam so that we could toss our socks into the dryer (ahhhh, dry socks!) and meet up with Ryss. Then we all piled into my car and went up to Kyn's birthday "bbq" in Laval, where Kyn, Frenchie-Pat, Jazz, and Sophie had already dove into the food. No worries, though. There was still much meat left for the rest of us scragglers. Yummmm... meat. Then we all chilled, played a game Ryss invented on the spot called "Truth or Lies" (it's more-or-less what it sounds like), and then heckled some highly amusing porn. Meanwhile, Ian was kind enough to go off and buy us candy bars and ice cream. Snuggles, chocolate ice cream, and heckling porn... it was a good night.
We left when my eyes, nose, and lungs started telling me, "uh, you know there's a cat here, right? You know she was curled up on your leg for 20 minutes, right? You know that's not necessarily a good idea, right? Well, we're going to remind you, violently, until you pay attention to us!" Yeah... stupid allergies and asthma. On a 24-hour, extra-strength reactine, and daily cortico-steroids, I lasted about 4 hours. Sadly, this is about par for the course for me. On the upside, I'm feeling much better this morning, and all the cat-hair-covered clothes are in the laundry hamper.
In about 30 minutes, I'm leaving to meet up with Amanda for Hot Beverages (tm) and then afterwards getting together with Ian to have dinner with his parents.
