It's dying, Jim

My ipod headphones are dying. To be honest, I've known they were dying for a while, ever since I started seeing exposed wire on the cord leading up to my left ear. It was only a matter of time before that exposed wire (lengthening every day, as the plastic cover slipped further and further up) caught on something and decided not to work.

Today was that day.

I still have sound in the right ear, but it's not the same. So I suppose a trip to Bureau en Gros is in order this evening, huh?

Looking for tech advice (scanners)

As I mentioned this morning, I'm looking to purchase a scanner. I don't need an all in one printer because my current printer is working fine, so I'm probably going to go with a flatbed scanner.

Right now, I think I've narrowed down my choices to the Canon CS LiDE 200 and the Canon CS 4400F. Both are sold at the Bureau en Gros on my way to work, the former for $98.82 and the latter for $129.43. I've been reading the reviews on Amazon, but if anyone has experience with either of these scanners, I'd love your input.
