Here I am

I'm back in Montreal, safe and sound. Yay Montreal!

On the train, I started reading Bram Stoker's Dracula, which I am ashamed to say I have never read, despite my many years playing a vampire in RPGs. And, as a modern counterpoint, I also started reading Preacher, which I am also ashamed to say I've never read. Hopefully both omissions in my sci-fi / fantasy / gothic repertoire will be solved within the week.

I have no firm and solid plans for the next week and a half, so if you want to see me, now's the chance to get a word in edgewise.

My brother bought me an increadibly cute devil teddy bear for Valentine's day. Seeing as I have two devils already, one named Lucky (short for Lucifer), and one Beezy (for Beelzebub), I have decided to name this one Stan (figure it out). My brother also got me a magnet with the phrase, "never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups." Needless to say, I love both. Pictures of the former will hopefully be coming tomorrow.

And that's it for me. G'night all!

I have almost every Preacher graphic novel, except the last one, as well as 10 or 20 original issues. I love Preacher, and Starr is my hero. Well, not so much a hero as a favourite villain. If you want to borrow any, just say the word.

Dracula is a great novel. I have to re-read it since I'm supposed to be writing a play based on it right now. Yep. Better get on that.

Got your email--thanks! :) I went to the publications office this afternoon to pick up the books, but the office was closed (grrrr), so I will try again tomorrow.
