Latin Fever!
Tonight was Winter Ball at Massey -- this is essentially a big, formal party. This year's theme was Latin Fever. Most people got dressed up fancy, some closer to the theme than others. Some people even wore costumes. Among the notable ones were Zorro, Fidel Castro, and about 7 guys with sambreros and cap guns. I was dressed up in my 'lil black dress, long black gloves, and a two-tone red silk scarf I bought this summer in Florence. Those last two items got lots of compliments. Yay for feeling sexy!
There were hired dancers who gave some quick lessons in salsa, there was a mariachi band (appologies for the hideous mispellings), there were fantastic decorations. Oh, yeah, the food was good too.

After Latin dancing, the music
Around 11, I decided that it was time to go home. Getting into all my damp clothes (did I mentioned it was pouring rain on my walk over to Massey) was not fun, but the walk home actually wasn't bad. And now it's past my bedtime and I'm going to sleep. Tomorrow there is schoolwork waiting, and it won't do itself.
G'night all!
